The Daisy Nationals is the largest national 5-meter BB gun match in the nation. It has been conducted by Daisy each year since 1966. Since 2010 Rogers, Arkansas has served as the host city to this prestigious match.
Fifty-one teams from all over the United States are registered for the 5-meter match. These young shooting athletes (ages 8 to 15) are the best of the best and will be competing for medals and national records shooting Daisy’s AVANTI Champion single shot BB gun, described as the most accurate BB gun in the world.

The event begins on Thursday when teams arrive to practice. Friday evening’s Opening Ceremonies will be like a mini-Olympic opening event, with teams marching into the convention ballroom wearing team colors, carrying their state flags and mounting the medal podiums for team photos. Including athletes, coaches and families, there will be 1,600 to 1,800 in attendance. The 5-meter competition takes place in the morning hours of Saturday and Sunday, July 5 and 6. Each athlete will also take a written test. The score is a significant part of the overall team score. Closing ceremonies and award presentations for the 5-meter competition are scheduled for Sunday afternoon.
All teams will find an opportunity, on Thursday – Saturday, to tour the Rogers Daisy Airgun Museum in historic downtown Rogers.
Nothing keeps a competition exciting like new competitors. If you are interested in starting a 5-meter BB gun team, contact Daisy today about how to form your team. We look forward to seeing you at next year’s Daisy Nationals!
