The Young Arkansas Artists Exhibition is one of the most popular exhibitions held at the Arts Center each year. The YAA showcases artwork by Arkansas students, kindergarten through 12th grade. More than 600 works in a wide variety of media are entered annually.

Now in its 28th year, Small Works on Paper is a competitive visual art exhibition that showcases artwork no larger than 18 x 24 inches by Arkansas artists who are members of the Arkansas Artist Registry. The Small Works on Paper exhibition offers Registry members an extraordinary opportunity to showcase their artwork to patrons all over the state. The exhibition tours the state annually to ten venues. The Delta Cultural Center hosts the exhibit during 2016. An out-of-state juror selects a maximum of 40 pieces of artwork to tour with the exhibition.
