Whether they desire a more personalized education, flexibility, or simply the opportunity to be more directly involved in their children’s learning, many parents opt to take education into their own hands. Nationally, the number of homeschooled students has grown significantly. In Arkansas alone, it’s estimated that over 30,000 students are currently being homeschooled, a number that continues to grow as families explore this alternative approach to education.
Finding the right resources can be a challenge for families new to homeschooling or looking for additional support. Giving children a well-rounded and effective education is the goal of all educators. To help, I’ve compiled a list of Arkansas-based resources that will be especially beneficial for homeschoolers. These resources cover everything from navigating Arkansas homeschool laws to connecting with other homeschool families, finding curriculum support, and discovering local educational opportunities. Whether you’re just starting your homeschool journey or are a seasoned pro, these resources can provide valuable guidance, community, and tools to ensure success.
