Or, the yearning for the carefree “All-American rebel” life personified by hot rods and drag races? I do not know which it is, but I do know that Arkansans love their classic cars. The backroads of Arkansas will take you back in time to these nine upcoming car shows across the Natural State.
This 35th annual event showcases the very best in the Arkansas River Valley and beyond. Proceeds go to two scholarships for Greenwood High School students and other local charities.

The event will feature live music by the Midwestern Playboys, a Valve cover racing track by Ridge Runner Valve Cover Racing, swap meet that is open to all items, food vendors, a silent auction with some really cool items up for bid, a bump and jump and playground for the kiddos and John T. Wayne, western author and grandson of “The Duke” will be there. The famous Wild Thang Rat Rod School Bus will also be on display. All proceeds will fund the Dardanelle Senior Activity Center.

Cruising the Ozarks has multiple events throughout the year, but their main event is held every September at the Washington County Fairgrounds. It includes booths for antique and modern parts. Spaces are also available for Overlanding Outfitting and racing equipment/cars. A Car Corral and Show & Shine will be available.

We also have the 2nd Annual MOPAR Car Show at Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge on August 18th – 19th. The Friday Night Lights show will be in Eureka Springs on the night of August 18th and the car show will be on the property at Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge. This is the only MOPAR event in Northwest Arkansas!
