Superfine Sweets Shoppe in Downtown Bentonville

A

At Superfine Sweets Shoppe in downtown Bentonville, the bold ambiance takes a backseat to the flavorful, freshly made in-house, premium ice cream and sweets.

First, adjust your senses.

I would be remiss if I didn’t start talking about the bold, in-your-face color explosion once you open the doors to Superfine.

Owners Luke and Mollie knew what they were doing when they opened the doors to Superfine Sweets Shoppe in early 2022, throwing down an outrageous yet fun color scheme challenge for the feel of the interior. They nailed it.

Customers first mention, “Wow, it’s bright in here!” when they first walk through the doors. You can’t blame them. After all, it’s traditional downtown Bentonville on the outside…

….“Toyoko Drift and Marigold” on the inside.

Besides the outrageous color combinations, the wallpapers alone are worth the trip! From the B-A-N-A-N-A-S wrap around the colors to the Mona Lisa Last Supper Mural and Andy Warhol’s Marilyn’s Lips wallpaper in the bathroom.

Next, get ready for the flavor explosion!

The ice cream and sweets are locally made, in-house and from local ingredients. Everything is made fresh within the last day or two.

They say their specialty desserts are “made from flour so fine, you could say it’s… well, superfine.” So – in case you were wondering – that’s the inspiration for their name, Superfine Sweets Shoppe.

Their homemade ice cream is made from fresh, local ingredients. No corn syrup, thank you. Their dairy-free options include coconut and cookies, golden milk and sorbets. All dairy-free options are also vegan.

I’ll vouch for the Golden Milk ice cream. It’s made with coconut milk, turmeric, cinnamon, ginger, black pepper and maple syrup. And – surprise twist – it’s also their signature bright yellow color!

Lemon Poppy Seed ice cream is a crowd favorite, as is Cookies and Cream and Mocha Toffee.

If you’re not in the mood for ice cream, try the Chocolate Chip Cookie.

If you’re not in the mood for ice cream, cookies or cake… there is always mineral water or soda.

Pop in sometime.

Superfine Sweets Shoppe is a fun stop to satisfy a sweet craving whether you’re a local or out-of-towner. Pop in. Live a little. Enjoy the unexpected—oh, and one more thing. Be sure to look up when you’re in the restroom.
