Our daughter and her daddy had the thrill of attending the Ball for two years in a row. I love the memories that were built: picking out a special dress, getting all prettied up to go, and the all the excitement of going on a “date” with daddy!
My husband loved being able to have a special night out with our daughter, and I enjoyed staying home for some quiet time with our son.
The Sugar Plum Ball itself includes kid-friendly food (it was chicken tenders, mac and cheese, and cupcakes when my family went), dancing, and a short program. There are several decorated Christmas trees set up that make for a great photo backdrop. Santa and Mrs. Clause stop by to visit, as well as Mrs. Arkansas. The little girls all receive a princess tiara and party favors.
All the fun and excitement is sure to wear all the little princesses out, so the last memory of the evening will probably look like this:
My husband, Craig, still remembers how well done the event is. He recommends the Sugar Plum Ball to friends with daughters. The second year he went with two friends and their daughters, which made it even more fun.
The Sugar Plum Ball is Thursday, November 20th 6-8:30pm. Tickets are $40 each. Purchase them online on the CARTI website and start making plans for your own Sugar Plum memories!
