Postseason basketball action is heating up the entire state. Snag a front-row seat at a nearby tournament, munch on popcorn and cheer for high school athletes giving their all. But that’s not all! Spice up your month with Pulaski Tech’s Culinary Classes. Whether it’s a charming date night, a lively friends’ get-together, or a delightful outing with your child, these classes are a must-try. Trust me, they’re absolutely awesome – check them out and elevate your February fun! Plus, the Walton Arts Center, Murphy Arts District, Robinson Center and Reynolds Performance Hall will all be offering a great lineup of entertainment to round out our February 2025 events.

Step Afrika! is the first professional company dedicated to the tradition of stepping. Step Afrika! blends percussive dance styles practiced by historically African American fraternities and sororities, traditional African dances and an array of contemporary dance and art forms into a cohesive, compelling artistic experience. Performances are much more than dance shows; they integrate songs, storytelling, humor and audience participation. The blend of technique, agility, and pure energy makes each performance unique and leaves the audience with their hearts pounding. They will be performing at Reynolds Performance Hall in Conway this February.

Beast Feast is the annual Sportsman Banquet hosted by the Second Baptist Men’s Ministry in Conway, Arkansas. It is held each winter and is open to men and boys of all ages and is a night filled with games, entertainment, prizes, live music, great food, and great speakers. This year’s speaker is Billy Molls. Having lived more than eight years of his life in a tent in the wilderness, Molls has documented his adventures through his award-winning Modern Day Mountain Man video series. Hunters and even non-hunters are sure to enjoy Billy’s riveting tales of airplane wrecks, grizzly encounters and be inspired by his life-changing experiences in The Last Frontier.

February is the month for the regional basketball tournaments to see which teams will get the opportunity to play in the State Tournament for classifications 4A and under. Check out the
Arkansas Activities Association website for the tournament locations and brackets. Make plans to attend some games near you and witness the thrilling showdowns between high school athletes vying for a spot in the State Tournament.
