We may have to wait until Friday, March 20, to officially welcome the new season, but if Arkansas events are any indication, the Natural State isn’t waiting around to celebrate. The month ahead promises all the things we love most about this time of year — festivals, outdoor events, St. Patrick’s Day and the (hopeful) departure of winter temperatures.
Take full advantage of these Arkansas events happening in March 2026!

The Little Rock Marathon is known as a race with personality, loads of southern hospitality, caring volunteers, a running or walking tour through the scenic streets of Arkansas’ capital city and an impressive finisher’s medal. This year’s theme is” Every Mile Tells a Story” and the medals represent that perfectly! Even if you aren’t running this year, make plans to grab a group of friends or co-workers and line the streets in Little Rock and cheer on all the runners that go by. Most of the race options are already sold out, BUT it is still a fun day to head out and cheer the runners on in the lively atmosphere and enjoy going to one of Little Rock’s unique restaurants.
