It is the last weekend before Christmas in Arkansas. We are sure everyone is scrambling, trying to pick up their last-minute gifts and checking things off the to-do list. But, if you can spare some time, we recommend checking out some of these great events and enjoy celebrating the Christmas season this weekend in Arkansas. Enjoy and Merry Christmas!
Community Caroling (Jonesboro)
If you live near Jonesboro, then you can go caroling as a community this Christmas season! There will be choirs from churches, schools, and community groups who will lead everyone in singing well known Christmas Carols. You can be a caroler or a spectator! Caroling begins at 6:30 p.m., and the parking is free, you only need an admission pass to enter the park. A song list with lyrics will be provided.

Brookhill Christmas (Hot Springs Village)
At the Brookhill Christmas event, you can drive through and enjoy the lights, or stop and join in for even more Christmas fun. Each evening will be filled with all of your favorite Christmas festivities from hot chocolate, lights, s’mores, a petting zoo, horseback rides and more at the Brookhill Christmas Event!

Home for the Holidays (Eureka Springs)
The Ozarks hills will come alive with the sound of holiday music on Friday, December 20th, when the annual Home for the Holidays Concert takes place in The Auditorium. Local Eureka Springs singers and groups will perform songs of the season. Doors open at 6:30 and showtime is 7 p.m. There is no charge to attend the concert, but donations to the Flint Street Food Bank are accepted at the door.

A Very Sona Christmas (Fayetteville)
The Symphony of Northwest Arkansas (SoNA) continues its 65th Anniversary with an evening performance and a special matinee of A Very SoNA Christmas this Saturday. This concert features a mix of holiday favorites with the SoNA Singers, area high school choirs, and special guest artists.

Caroling in the Forest (Roland)
It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Bundle up and join Pinnacle Mountain park interpreters for a candlelight stroll along the Kingfisher Trail. Music and caroling will be followed by warm beverages and a blazing fire at the Pinnacle Pavilion.

Caroling in the Caverns (Mountain View)
If you have never experienced Caroling in the Caverns, then you need to make it a priority! At Caroling in the Caverns, you can marvel at the beauty of astonishing formations at Blanchard Springs Caverns coupled with the sounds of caroling resounding through the caverns as musicians perform your favorite old-time Christmas songs. This is the last weekend of the season to experience this! Each show seats 100 people and they fill up quick. You can purchase your tickets are online.

Wynken, Blynken, and Nod: Pay What You Can (Little Rock)
Children’s Theatre on Tour’s production of Wynken, Blynken, and Nod: A Play for the Very Young is stopping by the Arkansas Arts Center’s Riverdale location for a Pay What You Can performance! Toddlers and preschoolers will delight in the enchanting and whimsical journey of Wynken, Blynken, and Nod as they sail away one magical night and meet the mystical Moon! Inspired by Eugene Field’s poem, this interactive musical for early-childhood audiences explores the fantasy world of dreams. When the Moon asks, “where are you going, and what do you wish?” the night sky becomes the sea, and stars become fish as audience members see, touch and participate throughout the play. Join Wynken, Blynken, Nod, and the Moon on this 45-minute multi-sensory adventure for the very young.

Arkansas Health Center Lights On The Boulevard (Haskell)
Arkansas Health Center is pleased to host Lights On The Boulevards. The holiday light display is a drive-through event on the campus of Arkansas Health Center in Haskell, Arkansas. There will be lighted figurines, several 20′ tall lighted Christmas trees, and more are a part of this 40,000 light display.

Winter Break Wonders (Bentonville)
You can make memories at the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art over your school break and create with artists, make buttons in the gallery, and listen to fun music together as a family! There will be special activities each afternoon, including art-making, creative play, puppets, dance, and more. This program is free and no registration is required.
