This unique outdoor event began in 1995 and is held in beautiful Harrison, Arkansas. The festival will kick off Friday evening at the Anstaff Soccer Complex. The event will continue Saturday morning, with more balloon race competitions. The evening events will continue where balloons are tethered to the ground for the exciting Balloon Glow. In conjunction with the tethered balloons, there will be food and fun for the entire family. For a bonus tip: the best time and place to view the hot air balloons flying is Saturday and Sunday mornings from approximately 7 a.m. – approximately 9 a.m. at the Frist Baptist Church located at 1400 S. Pine St.

Since 1935, the White County Fair has been a gathering place for families.It is one of the 10 largest county fairs in the country and was named a Top-10 County Fair by the National Fair Managers Association.
There will be events every night such as a demolition derby and rodeo. The fair has rides, food and fun activities for all ages. So, make plans to head to Searcy this month to enjoy the exhibits, funnel cakes, animals, rides, entertainment and more!

If you love checking out antique cars, then you need to make plans to head to Petit Jean Mountain in September. There will be over 300 spaces available with antique cars, parts, crafts, and more for sale or trade. On Saturday there will be an open car show, and military vehicles will rally Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. The event will be located on the tree-shaded grounds of The Museum of Automobiles atop Petit Jean Mountain near Morrilton, Arkansas.

Celebrate Oktoberfest with your fellow Arkansans while they present Little Rocktoberfest 2022. This year the event will be held at War Memorial Stadium. Local breweries will be there with the best brews that Arkansas has to offer. You will also get to sample one-of-a-kind beers that you cannot get anywhere else. There is also going to be a hotdog/potato salad dinner that comes with every ticket.

Get Down Downtown is a free, two-day, family-friendly outdoor festival featuring live music, vendors, games, rides and many more activities. The festival kicks off at 6 p.m., Sept. 23, and starts again at 10 a.m. Saturday. The headline act is The Marshall Tucker Band with opening act Charlotte Taylor and Gypsy Rain. And there is something a little extra! There is a Funnel Cake 5k. You can run the 5K on Sept. 24 before the festival opens and get a voucher for a free funnel cake! We will run for funnel cakes!

The Junk Ranch fall event is this month. It is a two-day junking festival held on a 35-acre farm. This event features a variety of vendors that will give you plenty to look at and treasure hunt from. The big red barn, the farmhouse, and the festival grounds will be full with over 250 venders. The farm becomes a junking paradise! The event takes place Sept. 30 and Oct. 1. But early shopping begins Friday with the cost of a $10 admission. By going early, you get the best chance at finding a one-of-a-kind treasure. Enjoy!
