Get prepared for festivals and fireworks this weekend! The championship tiller race is the main attraction at the Purple Hull Pea Festival in Emerson. Clinton’s Archery Fest will be this weekend with plenty of activities to choose from for the day! Beebe will also be having a free festival for families that includes waterslides, a reptile exhibit, and fireworks. Enjoy the weekend!
Annual Purple Hull Pea Festival & World Championship Rotary Tiller Race (Emerson)
Head to Emerson for a fan favorite festival! It’s a small-town festival with a one-of-a-kind world championship sporting event, complete with the world’s fastest garden tillers. Celebrate the purple hull pea, a backyard garden delicacy, and hosts the world’s fastest garden tillers during the World Championship Rotary Tiller Race. The festival includes pea meals, arts and crafts, the World Cup PurpleHull Pea Shelling Competition, the Great PurpleHull Peas & Cornbread Cook-Off, a Riblet Cook-Off, the Million Tiller Parade, a street dance, an antique tractor and car show, and fireworks. Don’t miss out on the fun!

Archery Fest (Clinton)
“Archery Fest” as Clinton area locals affectionately know it, is the area’s annual Independence Day Carnival & also its largest fundraising event, organized by the Clinton Chamber of Commerce. Admission is FREE to the public! The annual summer festival is back with the biggest fireworks display yet! It will be fun for all ages and starts on the historic downtown square (off Hwy 65). There will be a classic car show, soapbox derby, tournaments at the softball fields, fishing derby, live music, plus arts & crafts vendors, Carnival food & rides. Fireworks begin at dark! Head to Clinton this weekend to join the fun!

Beebe’s 4th of July Extravaganza (Beebe)
Make plans to celebrate Independence Day this weekend in Beebe at their Annual 4th of July Extravaganza on Saturday, June 29 starting at 5:30 p.m. at the Beebe Ballpark. This is a FREE EVENT with food, family fun, waterslides for all ages, train rides, a reptile exhibit, live music and a spectacular fireworks show! Live entertainment will begin at 6 p.m. with Nashville recording artist, Chelsey James, followed by Season 13 finalist of The Voice, Adam Cunningham, at 7:30 p.m. Be sure to arrive early and bring lawn chairs to ensure seating. To avoid the traffic, you can take advantage of the free shuttle service from the ASU-Beebe Student Center parking lot to the ballpark starting at 4 p.m.

Freedom Fest Conway 2019
