Celebrate New Year’s and Beyond with Arkansas Mocktails

M

Mocktails and infused waters are a great way to ring in the new year because they are drinks that everyone can enjoy. With an assortment of Arkansas’ own Mountain Valley Spring Waters and Pink House Alchemy syrups as a base, you can get super creative as you become your own mixologist.

Below are a few examples of the simple, refreshing drinks we’ll be sipping on New Year’s Eve and beyond. Cheers to 2025!

Sparkling White Grape Juice Mocktail

This is a non-alcoholic version of a classic Italian Bellini, starring muscadine grape juice from Post Familie vineyards in Altus. It would also be great for a New Year’s Day brunch.

Ingredients:

  • 4 ounces Post Familie Muscadine Grape Juice
  • 2 ounces Mountain Valley White Peach Sparkling Water
  • Frozen green grapes

Directions:

  • Place frozen green grapes along with ice cubes inside glass.
  • Pour grape juice over ice.
  • Add sparkling water.

Ginger Limeade

This limeade gets a kick from ginger. By adjusting the ratios, this recipe could easily be turned into a big-batch drink perfect for serving a crowd.

Ingredients:

  • 1 ounce Pink House Alchemy ginger syrup
  • 1 ounce lime juice
  • 4 ounces Mountain Valley Key Lime Twist Sparkling Water
  • Lime slice
  • Rosemary sprigs

Directions:

  • Stir ginger syrup with lime juice.
  • Pour over ice.
  • Add sparkling water and stir.
  • Garnish with lime slice and rosemary sprigs

Sparkling Blackberry, Sage and Grapefruit Mocktail

I pulled a bag of Barnhill Orchards blackberries from my freezer for this occasion. Get out your fancy glassware, as the blackberry hue and sage garnish really make this drink pop.

Ingredients:

  • 6 blackberries
  • 2 fresh sage leaves
  • 1 ounce freshly squeezed grapefruit juice
  • 1 ounce Pink House Alchemy blackberry syrup
  • 4 ounces Mountain Valley Blackberry Pomegranate Sparkling Water

Directions:

  • Place blackberries and sage leaves into a glass container and muddle until blackberries are disintegrated.
  • Add blackberry syrup and grapefruit juice. Stir vigorously.
  • Put ice in the drinking glass and strain mixture over the ice.
  • Pour in sparkling water.
  • Garnish with sage leaves and any additional blackberries.
