Trick or Treat? No tricks here, just delicious treats. These Gummy Worm Punch drinks are the perfect to-go idea for Halloween.
If you are looking for an out-of-the-box idea this Halloween, then this fun grab-and-go drink will hit the spot. Plus, it’s a fun and easy treat to get the kids involved – if you can keep them from eating all the gummy worms.
While things are different this year, you might be determined that Halloween will go on as normal or you might be up in the air. I’ve talked to many mom friends and the majority want to trick or treat like normal while others are doing drive through trunk or treats. Some have mentioned doing mini carnival games. In small neighborhoods where everyone knows everyone, you can make these to go Gummy Worm Punch drinks and add labels with the kid’s names. Set up a table, set the drinks on ice, and let the kids grab their labeled drink as they go by. If you happen to be having a party, this punch is perfect in regular glassware or to go cups.
Place 2 gummy worms into each muffin tin and fill with Hawaiian Punch until worms are just covered. Freeze for 2-3 hours. Fill glass ¾ full with Hawaiian Punch and then add lemon-lime soda to almost fill the glass. Drop in frozen worm disk and serve immediately.
