American Indians and Alaska Natives in America’s Wars ~ Little Rock

The Sequoyah National Research Center and the Arkansas History Commission will be hosting a free half-day symposium. The symposium’s theme, American Indians and Alaska Natives in America’s Wars, will feature speakers Mary Jane Warde, Erin Fehr, Dr. Bob Sanderson, Dr. Daniel F. Littlefield, Jane Wilkerson, and Karen Russ. Topics include The Destroying Hand of War, Alaska Natives and Their World War II Service in the Alaska Territorial Guard, Vietnam Warriors, and Resources for Studying Native Americans in America’s Wars.
