With one-of-a-kind attractions, businesses and cities, Northwest Arkansas is popular both as a tourist destination and a place to call home. There’s something for everyone in this corner of the state, from winding hiking and biking trails to art museums to college and professional sports teams and more.

What to do

Hidden in the heart of the Ozark mountains, Northwest Arkansas has long been famous for its breathtaking scenery and abundance of outdoor attractions. Visitors can hike winding trails through the mountains or take in the views from the road on the scenic Pig Trail byway. The Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art in Bentonville has become a must-see tourist attraction and is home to hundreds of American artistic masterpieces spanning five centuries.
