Summer may be winding down but the fun isn’t.
Amplify Christian Music Festival is held on the property of Holland Chapel Baptist Church in Benton, AR. The festival venue is easily accessible from Interstate 30, located on the south service road, next to the Saline County Fairgrounds and the Bernard Holland Baseball Park. The two day event will be held on a 20 acre grass field. As always in August it is going to be hot, so feel free to bring mist spray bottles and anything else to keep you cool. Multiple food and drink vendors will be on site throughout the event. We have a large variety of food and drink vendors at Amplify Christian Music Festival. Some vendors will accept debit or credit. All vendors will accept cash.

The super soul musical is a glorious retelling of Frank Baum’s “Wonderful Wizard of Oz” set in the context of African-American culture. The Arkansas State Archives hosts a half-day symposium with the theme, “Arkansas’s Homerun: Major League Training in Hot Springs,” featuring the screening of Larry Foley’s documentary, “The First Boys of Spring,” and a presentation by Don Duren, who will be speaking about his book, “Boiling Out at the Springs: A History of Major League Baseball Training at Hot Springs, Arkansas.” Check-in begins at 8:30 a.m. on August 27.
