Let cream cheese soften for easier spreading.
An 8×8 baking dish would make for a thicker layer of dip.
Mix it up by trying different flavors of Ro-Tel.
Mix in some taco seasoning, cumin, or Cavender’s to your softened cream cheese.
Ingredients
1 – 15-ounce pkg cream cheese
1 – 15.25 ounce can black beans
1 – 4.5 ounce can chopped green chiles
1 – 10 ounce can Ro-Tel
2 cups shredded cheese (Mexican blend)
tortilla chips or crackers for dipping
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Spread cream cheese in the bottom of an oven-safe baking dish. Wash and drain black beans. Spread evenly over cream cheese. Drain green chilies and spread over black beans, drain Ro-Tel, and spread over green chiles. Sprinkle top with shredded cheese and bake 20 to 25 minutes or until heated through. Serve with chips or crackers.
