Whipped Sweet Potato Bake Makes Thanksgiving Easy

T

Thanksgiving is around the corner, and this Whipped Sweet Potato Bake recipe has the best shortcut we all need and tastes just as good as making it from scratch! The holiday season has us cooking and baking more than ever. Let’s be honest, we need all the shortcuts we can get when baking up a feast for our families. This is a super simple recipe that requires only 6 ingredients and is perfect for making a quick, easy side dish for the holidays.

Easy Peasy Pleasy Tips

  • Don’t fret when you pull this Whipped Sweet Potato Bake out of the oven and the mini marshmallows have tripled in size. They will deflate back to normal size. Ultimately, you are looking to get that lightly toasted color.
  • Lightly grease the sides of your casserole dish, too. The marshmallows will puff up but shrink back down after being removed from the heat. If you grease the sides and bottom of the dish, the marshmallow will not stick as it shrinks.
  • This recipe can be easily doubled if feeding a large crowd and comes together super-fast from start to finish. Plus, you can taste test before you bake to make sure the flavors are on point.
