A Charlie Brown Christmas – Benton
The Young Players and Landers of Benton are proud to present A Charlie Brown Christmas on stage at The Royal Theatre. A Christmas Cabaret follows each performance. The classic animated television special comes to life in this faithful stage adaptation in which Charlie Brown, Snoopy, and the rest of the Peanuts Gang discover the true meaning of Christmas. When Charlie Brown Complains about the overwhelming materialism he sees among everyone during the Christmas Season, Lucy suggests that he become director of the school Christmas pageant. Charlie Brown accepts, but this proves to be a frustrating endeavor. When an attempt to restore the proper holiday spirit with a forlorn little Christmas fir tree fails, he needs Linus’ help to discover the real meaning of Christmas.

Chef’s Tasting Dinner – A Victorian Christmas Celebration – Morrilton
These multi-course culinary experiences capture the essence of flavors representing a specific place and/or time. Each dinner consists of 15-20 “tasting courses,” or small portions that capture the essence of a certain dish in just a few bites. Participants experience unique tastes centered around a certain theme, with wine pairings for each course. The dinner includes the meal, wine pairings, overnight accommodations and a continental breakfast the following morning. Participants must sign up in pairs. 31st annual Christmas Wonderland – Crossett
Christmas Wonderland, a half-mile oasis of lights, includes animated scenes, a 30-foot oval train, a drive-through lighted tunnel, a patriotic scene, bubble and snow machines, a light show and special appearances by Frosty the Snowman. In 2015, Christmas Wonderland was Arkansas’s first National ABC Christmas Light Fight Champion.

Caroling in the Forest – Little Rock
We’ll meet at the Kingfisher Trail to stroll into the forest, and sing your favorite Christmas carols along a paved trail. Bring a flashlight and your best singing voice. Visit with everybody afterward as we serve hot chocolate around a campfire at the Pinnacle Pavilion. This fun family activity has quickly become a tradition!
