Spooky Sweet: Gummy Worm Delight

T

There’s something special about reliving childhood memories, and this easy 4-ingredient Gummy Worm Delight is the perfect Halloween treat to bring those nostalgic feelings to life right here in Arkansas! This simple, single-serve dessert is ideal for spooky parties and family gatherings. I vividly remember when my mom made this fun recipe for one of our Halloween parties back in the day, complete with crushed Oreos for “dirt” and gummy worms creeping out. Now, as a mom myself, I love sharing this quick and no-bake recipe with my own neighborhood kids, making Halloween a little sweeter!

Easy Peasy Pleasy Tips!

  • Place Oreos in a large Ziplock bag and use a rolling pin to crush or make quick work crushing the Oreos in your food processor.
  • Crush Oreos first and fill glasses.
  • After mixing up your pudding, give it a couple minutes before pouring. Then pour and assemble layers quickly. If pudding gets to thick you can use a spoon to spread evenly.
  • I doubled the recipe in the cookbook and used short glasses for more individual servings. I’ve listed my variations in the recipe.
