With the holidays behind us, February is typically when we begin to round out winter and look ahead to spring. But this year, January had other plans—hello, snowpocalypse—shutting Arkansas down for a while. Now that we’re back at it, February can still bring the chill, so it’s the perfect time to head to one of Arkansas’s great indoor events or performances and get out to enjoy the month.

Beast Feast is the annual Sportsman Banquet hosted by the Second Baptist Men’s Ministry in Conway, Arkansas. It is held each winter and is open to men and boys of all ages and is a night filled with games, entertainment, prizes, live music, great food and great speakers. This year’s speaker is Billy Molls. Having lived more than eight years of his life in a tent in the wilderness, Molls has documented his adventures through his award-winning Modern Day Mountain Man video series. Hunters and even non-hunters are sure to enjoy Billy’s riveting tales of airplane wrecks, grizzly encounters and be inspired by his life-changing experiences in The Last Frontier.
