Mooned By the Sun – Hot Springs

Mid-America Science Society presents Mooned by the Sun celebrating the upcoming total solar eclipse! Adults age 21 and older are invited to enjoy hands-on science experiments, adult beverages from Tri-Lakes Liquor, and great food while learning about astronomy and eclipses! There will be special eclipse shows in the Oaklawn Foundation Digital Dome Theater and other fun science happening throughout the evening!

41st Annual Hope Watermelon Festival

This annual event celebrates Hope’s most famous agricultural product. Hope is the home of the world’s largest watermelons with three Guinness World Records. Festival features arts & crafts, watermelon eating contest, seed spitting, 5K, giant melon auction, kids’ activities, and ice-cold Hope Watermelon by the slice. $5 parking.
