The 17th annual Little Rocktoberfest will be held September 21st at Dickey Stephens Park. This event is an annual festival in celebration of the Oktoberfest season. The local homebrew club, The Central Arkansas Fermenters (CAF), hosts this yearly fundraiser every fall and has since its inception. Little Rocktoberfest is one of the largest beer festivals in the state, and one of the two oldest annual beer festivals held in Arkansas, second only to Food & Foamfest, the spring beer festival. This year, the club chose S.T.O.P. Inc (Students That Officially Patrol) as their charity beneficiary. Proceeds from ticket sales will go to this great organization which supports children who are at risk from becoming school dropouts. The festival will treat guests to craft beers, homebrews, and Little Rocktoberfest’s signature bratwurst plate with potato salad, a tradition that dates back to the very first event.  Attendees will be able to sample hundreds of different beers brewed by breweries large and small, as well as our equivalent to home cooking, beers and other fermented delights brewed at home by local amateur craftsmen and women. Festivalgoers will be given a chance to vote on their favorite homebrew for the People’s Choice award.

A little about .

There's a lot to celebrate in Arkansas. It's unique. Southern. Delightfully eccentric. Which is why we love every nook, cranny, cave and corner. In fact, some of our favorite things can't be found anywhere else. They're only in Arkansas. So we love them even more. The attractions we visit, the food we crave, the festivals we attend, the mountains we hike, the rivers we float, the stories we tell and the company we keep – it all adds up to one incredible state. And that familiar, meandering silhouette? Looks like home to us.
