Food trucks are the place to go in Northwest Arkansas for some of the best eats you’ll ever find. From down home cooking to world cuisines, scrumptious desserts, and ice cream, food trucks have created a whole new meaning to the phrase, “Let’s go out to eat.” For me, I just love the variety that food trucks seem to offer. And I really love a relaxing meal outside with my family.
When I first started traveling to Bentonville for work back in the day, I was introduced to my first food truck; I definitely needed to get out more. It was Hammontree’s, and it was parked right off the Bentonville Square. That was when I ordered my first ever Cheebacca (grilled cheese on sourdough with bacon and grilled pork), and my world was forever changed.
Since that time, it seems like there’s a new food truck popping up every time I turn around. But hey, I’m not complaining, and neither is the community it seems. Food trucks are hoppin’ around our corner of Arkansas, whether you’re at the farmer’s market, at work, or out and about in town. Just keep your eyes open, and you’ll likely see one of our amazing food trucks right around the corner.
While it was hard to narrow this list down, I couldn’t list every single food truck in Northwest Arkansas. So I thought of a few of my own favorites, sought out local friends for their favorites, and put together a list, alphabetized by town first, then name. This list is a great start if you’re like I was and have never tried a food truck. Start here and enjoy every bite!

The Main Bite is the go to food truck for a delicious breakfast burrito. You’ll also find tacos and quesadillas.

As you might guess, Crepes Paulette serves authentic French crepes, both sweet and savory. Filled with delicious ingredients like fresh spinach, cheddar cheese, Black Forest ham, real bacon bits, apple butter, and dark chocolate ganache, their crepes are famous in Northwest Arkansas. The Apple Pie is one that caught my eye; it’s filled with apple butter, sweet and salty caramel, and walnuts.

Dough Zone offers Asian cuisine, including famous street food from various cities in Asia, made with fresh ingredients. Every Friday and Saturday, they offer a Sweet Zone when you can enjoy a variety of desserts and sweet treats.

Priato Pizzeria is right across the street from the 21C Museum/Hotel. They have a relaxing outdoor patio with a view of the splash pad. They offer 10” Neapolitan style pizzas made in Italian stone-deck ovens. You can order a signature pizza (like their delicious Meatball Pizza), the daily special, or build your own.

Yeyo’s Mexican Grill serves authentic south-of-the-border street fare. They use fresh produce grown locally at the Rios Family Farm. Most famous for their tacos, you’ll also find burritos, nachos, quesadillas, Carne Asada, grilled chicken, and so much more.

Boasting street food like you’ve never seen before, Big Sexy Food offers appetizers, flatbreads, sandwiches, and a huge variety of burgers. Picture the Bacon Mac… It’s a beef burger topped with mac and cheese, bacon, and grilled tomato. That’s just one of the amazing burgers offered on the Big Sexy Food menu.

They even offer cereal infused milk. And what’s not to love about their hometown hashtag: #KeepFayettevilleChunky. Must visit this food truck with my boys this summer.

This is the place to go for a refreshing drink and/or dessert. From churros to bubble tea, fresh fruit, and ice cream, there’s something for everyone. And personally, I’m dying to try the Churro Breakfast Sandwich.

This is one food truck my husband has been dying to try, but we haven’t made it there yet. We’ve just heard so much about it! The menu does vary, but they offer some of the freshest ingredients around. Examples of past menu options include a Peach Pie Grilled Cheese, Cali Dreamin’, and Ratatouille Parm.

We enjoyed the most delicious Chimichanga at Taqueria Leos. I’m talking cheesy chicken deliciousness. It was so good! And it was huge, big enough we were easily able to share it. Their menu is full of other delicious Mexican foods, including Tacos, Sopes, Huaraches, Burritos, and more.

The Green Goat serves Cuban food with Ozark soul. You’ll find vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and paleo options. They offer things like Empanadas, Tostones, and Yucca; but I can’t wait to try their famous Classic Cubano, a sandwich made with fresh Cuban bread, ham, mojo-marinated pork, house pickles, and mustard. Yum!

Located in the Shulertown Food Truck Court, Wicked Wood Fired Pizza has an actual wood-fired oven right there in the food truck. They serve more traditional pies, as well as outside the box types of pizza like their BBQ Brisket and Tuscan Chicken.

Soul food, in the form of soup, is what Zuppa Zuppa is all about. Who doesn’t love a good soup and salad? Depending on the day, they offer a soup of the day. You’ll find things like Colorado’s Chili, Pearl’s Dumplins, Isabel’s Misto Cubano, and Holy Smokin’ Fajoli. Soup is served with artisan bread, sourced locally.

I’ve heard amazing things about the mac-n-cheese balls Baller serves up. In fact, they serve all sorts of gourmet comfort food in ball form. Imagine the Bacon Cheeseburger Ball, the Chicken Enchilada Ball, the Thanksgiving Ball (topped off with cranberry sauce and fried sage), and the Fried Peach Cobbler Ball… My mouth is watering, that’s for sure.
