Easy Pecan Caramel Delights

S

Santa better lock up these Easy Pecan Caramel Delights! Here in Arkansas, you only get access if you’ve been extra nice this holiday season. Y’all, I absolutely could not control myself around these little morsels of goodness — they taste like tiny bites of pecan pie, and I ate three in a row because they’re that delicious. With only three simple ingredients, this is the easiest Christmas candy you can make with minimal effort. They turn out like little homemade chocolate turtles…with a fun Christmas twist!

Easy Peasy Pleasy Tips

  • You can now buy Rolos unwrapped in the bag. 35 per bag. Go ahead and grab 2 bags to fill all those pretzels.
  • Parchment paper tip-wet a paper towel and squeeze out the excess water. Run the wet paper towel all over your baking sheet then place your parchment paper down on the pan. The parchment paper will stick to the baking sheet.
  • To make them more festive for Christmas, grab the holiday (red & green) candy and use them in place of the pecans. I grabbed a bag of regular peanut butter M&M’s and picked out the red and green. They are delicious!

Easy Pecan Caramel Delights

Ingredients

  • 1 bag mini pretzels (not sticks)
  • 1 bag Rolos candy
  • 1 bag halved pecans

Directions

Preheat oven to 250 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place pretzels on baking sheet. Top each pretzel with an unwrapped Rolo. Bake in the oven no more than 5 minutes. Rolo’s should be slightly soft but not melted. Remove from oven and push pecan into the center of each candy. Refrigerate until firm. Will look like a small turtle.
