Pecan Rolls Make Homemade Christmas Candy Easy

T

There’s nothing more comforting than a good old-fashioned classic candy at Christmas and Homemade Pecan Rolls are so easy to make you’ll want to make them all season long. These delicious homemade candy logs are perfect wrapped as logs or as individual slices in wax paper, tied with ribbon and given as gifts. They also make a great addition to Christmas dessert boards or as a sweet accompaniment to savory charcuteries.

Be sure to make yourself a batch, too, and tuck away for the trip to Grandma’s house on Christmas. Other dessert ideas you might enjoy for holiday road trips that are super easy are my 2-ingredient Elf Munch and Red Velvet Cake Mix Cookies.

Tips for Perfect Pecan Rolls

  • This recipe is super easy and only uses six ingredients.
  • Use parchment paper placed on a baking sheet that can fit in your fridge, for the marshmallow rolls to be chilled.
  • Spray hands with non-stick spray before forming the marshmallow rolls.
  • I used the microwave to melt caramels. Unwrap individual caramels and place in a microwave-safe bowl. Add water. Microwave on high for 1 minute. Stir. Continue microwaving in 30-second intervals until the caramel is smooth.
  • I purchased chopped pecans and still did a rough chop to make some of the larger pieces a bit smaller.

Thank you to Shonna Battles from Greenbrier for this delicious and easy Homemade Pecan Rolls Christmas Candy recipe!
