Renting an RV is the perfect way to experience a camping trip or a new way of travel. Whether you want to travel around Arkansas or venture across the country, RVs offer tons of amenities, and you get to take your lodging with you. I grew up camping, so I just assumed that was a normal thing for families to do. It turns out I was wrong as my husband had never been camping. He didn’t even like going outside much, and the first time I asked him to go camping, he looked at me like I was crazy. But, he’s a good guy and reluctantly agreed, and I set us up for a weekend of tent camping. Unfortunately, the weekend didn’t go so well, and it was many years before I could convince him to go camping again. Eventually, he acquiesced under the condition that we start saving for an RV. Had I known that there were campgrounds in Arkansas where you could rent an RV for a weekend, I would have been enjoying camping many, many years earlier.

TCE (Total Camping Experience) Camper Rental – Cabot
TCE is a veteran-owned company operated by Cody and Paul, full-time Air Force flight engineers in the 189th Air National Guard. They began their business about two years ago with two rigs but have since expanded to five and continue to grow. Renters have the option of picking up and pulling the trailers themselves, or the TCE crew will deliver it to the campsite of your choice and pick it up again at the end of the weekend. Their rental RVs are fully stocked with most everything you would need for a great weekend of camping. Just bring food and clothes, and you’ll be ready to go! TCE was recently featured in an Arkansas Game and Fish Commission Commercial.

Kiko’s Kountry RV – Sherwood
Are you looking to explore Arkansas? Kiko’s has a fleet of 11 rental units in various sizes and amenities to meet your outdoor vacation needs. Most of their units rent for under $150 a night, and they will even deliver and pick up from your selected campground for a small fee. Huddleston RV Rental – Hot Springs
Conveniently located in central Arkansas, renting RVs is all that Huddleston does, so you know you will get impeccable service throughout your entire rental experience. Select one of their 18 rigs and pick it up yourself or have them deliver it to your campsite for you. They have several options available for under $100 a night and will be adding two brand new rigs in the spring.

Head out on the open road or enjoy playing tourist in the Diamond Lakes Region when you let American RV Rentals set up and deliver a rental unit for you. Bull-Shoals White River State Park – Lakeview
Enjoy one of three on-site RVs, just steps from the white river. Each unit sleeps 5-8 people and includes everything you need to enjoy a weekend of camping. You will be provided with all dishes, utensils, cookware, grill, fire ring, AC/Heat and even satellite television. Guests will need to provide bedding, towels, and personal items. Cane Creek State Park – Star City
If you want to enjoy a weekend in the woods, Cane Creek State Park offers a single Rent-an-RV unit. The unit sleeps six comfortably but could sleep up to 8. You will be provided with all dishes, utensils, cookware, grill, fire ring, AC/Heat and television. Guests will need to provide their bedding, towels and personal items. Southern Comfort Inn & Resort – Greers Ferry
Southern Comfort Inn & Resort offers hotel-style lodging, cabins and now an RV near Greers Ferry Lake in Greers Ferry. The RV was a new addition, and its popularity is prompting them to add several more units, which will be available in 2021. The trailer rents for $85 a night and includes a deck, grill and firepit. The resort also has a pool, which is perfect for those who need a break from the lake.

Angler’s White River Resort – Mountain View
The Angler’s campground on Sylamore Creek offers over 100 full hookup campsites and several cabin rentals. They also have several RVs that are set up and ready to rent all season long. Come up for the weekend or stay a little longer to enjoy fishing, boating, hiking and more at Angler’s Resort.

Are you looking for an Airbnb-type experience?
You can rent RVs directly from individuals on sites like Outdoorsy and RVShare. Select your dates, choose a camper and connect with the owner to schedule a pickup or delivery. Many owners will deliver the RV directly to the campsite, so all you have to do is show up and enjoy your vacation. In most cases, the renter is responsible for booking a reservation at a campground.
