Everyone loves a funny fill-in. You know, the short stories where you randomly choose words for different parts of speech and use them to fill in blanks in a story. The results are typically weird, wonky and cause a lot of laughter. Funny fill-ins are a great road trip activity and are fun for the whole family as you explore the state of Arkansas.
This first installment of Arkansas Funny Fill-ins focuses on Crowley’s Ridge State Park located in northeast Arkansas. Whether you live nearby, are working on filling your Arkansas State Parks Passport or just want to explore more of the state, Crowley’s Ridge and the surrounding area have a lot to offer.
Check out these articles to help you plan your trip, and then print off the Crowley’s Ridge Funny Fill-in for the whole family to enjoy as you explore the area. If you want to discover the true answers, you can read to learn more about this settler’s paradise turned state park.

A little about Julie Kohl.
Julie Kohl works from home as a writer and teaches art part-time at a local private school. A former Yankee who was "converted" to the south by her husband, Julie has grasped on to rural life in a sleepy, blink-your-eyes-and-you'll-miss-it town in central Arkansas where they raise chickens, farm hay and bake bread. Julie loves adventure and sharing it with her husband and son. They frequent the trails, campgrounds and parks of Arkansas, always on the hunt for new adventures and new stories to share.
