Wake up with the birds, watch the sunrise, enjoy a full day of fresh air and gather around the campfire to grill s’mores long after the sun has set. Although summer is considered by many to be “camping season,” the temperate weather here in Arkansas means the camping season can be extended into October and November or even longer.
This fall, as the leaves change and the temperatures drop, pack up the RV or load the tent into your car and head to one of these Central and Northeast Arkansas campgrounds for a weekend of fun. Go fishing, collect colorful leaves while you hike and grill hotdogs over an open fire.
This big rig friendly RV park offers level pull-thru and back-in sites, all with patios and firepits. There is a walking trail, a playground for the kids and they are centrally located to several popular fishing spots and antique shops. Expansions, including a pool and a laundromat, are planned for the spring of 2021.
